Jo Miguel - One Man Band (Gold Coast & Brisbane)

A highly accomplished vocalist and keyboard player, with professional experience dating from the early 80's, Jo presents a highly varied repertoire.

His musical talent, passion, energy and the ability to deliver great performances in any situation has had heads turning everywhere from South Africa to Portugal, Namibia to Australia.

Among other things Jo was a keyboardist/vocalist for various cover bands as well as performing as a solo singer at numerous clubs around South Africa. In 1984 he formed "The Musical Project" with renowned guitarist/vocalist Carlos Aguiar and took up a resident gig at various restaurants and supper clubs.

This dynamic duo became a powerhouse solo act in 1987 as Jo started to light up the stage with his infectious performances at a long list of corporate functions, private parties, weddings and restaurants.

From laid back jazz to interactive dance hits, pop to Latin, rock to lounge - singing in English, Italian, Spanish, Afrikaans and Portuguese - there's simply no act as engaging and versatile as Jo Miguel.

Here's what clients have said: “Hi Jo, I would just like to thank you for helping to make our Staff Xmas Function such a great success, when organising a Staff Function like this it is always nice when things run smoothly and I was so pleased that after one conversation and an email with you I did not have to think again about the music for the evening. You took all the hard work out of this. When we arrived there you were all set up and ready to go and it was great that you were able to play such a variety of music that suited everyone. You kept up your enthusiastic performance for the whole evening and we all felt that you went above and beyond what was expected so thanks for making our Xmas Party a very Happy event that everyone was talking about around the coffee machine on Monday. Would certainly recommend you for corporate or private parties so once again. Thanks .”
